CCT Rater Training features:

• Theoretical foundations and development of rating scales in-services
• 'Live' rating scales demonstrations, supplemented with video-taped illustrations conducted by senior investigators
• Inter-Rater Reliability sessions held periodically to ensure consistency among study team members performing clinical evaluations resulting in accurate data
• Study teams that receive clinical skills training in establishing rapport with the study participant, maintaining objectivity, and observing and recording behavioral manifestations
• Accurate documention of a holistic clinical representation of the study participant

Senior investigators, with the support of a psychologist and psychometrician, guarantee the reliability of ratings scales conducted during clinical studies at all sites. ???

Inter-Rater Reliability and group training sessions are documented and maintained by Phase II-IV Department Management.

Individual Rater training is documented in accordance with the Staff Orientation and Training Clinical Operating Guideline.
